Share Account?
Hello, I just wanna ask, I's it possible to 2 people playing same account, and same time. I mean, my brother is interested to play it too, but I got only 1 account so, can we play together same time and isn't it against the rules?
Thank you. Edit: Can i get banned or something if i play same account with my brother ? Last edited by Playa; Feb 28, 2009 at 09:57 PM // 21:57.. |

Not possible, if your brother tried to log in, it would interrupt your gaming and boot you offline. Also the EULA you agree to on creating an account says no account sharing.
Your brother will need his own account. Also it's better this way as your brother wont be tempted to swipe any nice loot you get |

Same problem, my lil bro pretty much stopped playing thankfully, and I can fill the mats tab in xunlai without being robbed
But, yeah you can share account, but if your hacked you can't do anything about it other than standard procedure because, you violated the EULA. |

Can you share an account? Yes.
Is it smart to share an account? Usually not. Is it allowed to share an account? Technically, no. Will Anet do anything about you sharing your account? Not really. They can't even know if it's you or not if you're in the same house. With siblings, I'd just buy a second account for $10. Everything is dirt cheap now anyway. |

He can always try one of those trial accounts, then he can try out without any legal problems.
Though, if you let him play at your place, it's afaik to check. And I don't think anet will do much to check it, it's more when you have friends who you share your account with, constantly logging in from different IP's and resulting in a non-stop activity, that's what is suspicious. |

Personally I'd hate sharing an account with a sibling, if they get a good drop, you'll end up arguing over who gets to keep it etc.
